Where are the X1950XT reviews?

They were quietly released last month, but there I can't seem to find a single review of the card. They seem to be a good deal for under $300 since the only differences from a X1950XTX are the HSF, 256MB GDDR3 instead of 512MB GDDR4, and slightly slower clocks. Does anyone know where I can get some benchmarks of the X1950XT?

Newegg has them listed here

What the bloody hell! If I didn't know about it, maybe some sites didn't know about it either!

I do apologize. Wasn't paying close enough attention, my bad.

Here's some brief info at Guru3D.com. Click
HIS has released their version of the X1950XT. They claim that the X1950XT 2x Dual Link DVI VIVO 256MB card offers 12% more performance than the X1900XT 256MB. The GPU on the card runs at 625MHz, the 256MB GDDR3 at 900MHz (1.8GHz DDR), and as all Radeon X1k cards is it DirectX 9.0c compatible, supports Shader Model 3.0 and sports ATI's AVIVO technology. The X1950XT supports full HD video (1080p) with HDCP support, and is CrossFire ready.
Hardware Secrets
His announces two new graphic cards, HIS X1950XT and HIS X1650XT IceQ Turbo. The first one, powered by ATI Radeon X1950XT at 625MHz, comes with a software bundled which includes Microsoft Dungeon Siege Full, 3D Album PicturePro, PowerDirector 3 SE Plus, Power2Go 4 and PowerDVD 6.
You are right though. There are hardly any reviews concerning it, if any atl all.

I think you'll find it to perform about on par with an X1900XTX or even better sometimes. It's got basically 1.0 GHz on GDDR3 memory so that will give you some good boosts. It also has HDCP if you think you'll need it. Doesn't look bad for a cheap option, but at this stage I'd get a mid-range EVGA card, save some money, and in 3 months time step up to a GTS or GTX and pitch in some cash in order to get a card that will blow it out of the water.

Newegg has had them for about a week now. Or at least that's about how long ago I noticed them.

256mb would be fine for many people like me who don't play over 1280x1024 resolution.

The HIS ICEQ3 version would be the best, with a quiet HSF that blows hot air out of the case, and better overclocking potential.

Yeah, but it'll be a lot pricier, plus iirc, Arctic Cooling said that blowing air out of the case doesn't actually help as much as one would think. That is why their newest GPU coolers, the Accelero series, don't have that feature any more.

These are wat cheaper than the X1950XTX, and look to have similar specs (barely slower and only 256 MB of RAM). Still, I bet this card would rock for the price - Any reviews yet?

I am thinking of replacing my aging BBA X850 XT PE (OC'ed to 580/600 w/ AC ATI 5) with one of these for my upcoming build.

My only gripe is the 256MB of memory. I know when 512MB cards started appearing on the market, they didn't offer any performance improvements. When ATI launched the X1900 XT 256 though, it was 5-10% slower than the 512MB model at some resolutions!

Would the 256MB be enough for 1680 x 1050 playing games like BF2/2142, Oblivion etc. with some AA/AF? My X850 can handle all of the aformentionned on high settings with 4x,2x,2x AA (respectively) + 8xAF at 1280x 1024 quite decently.
