The rules are pretty basic, no rude, discriminatory, illegal, or obscene posts.

Some forums have rules of their own, which are posted at the top of those forums. For example, the FS/T rules, found here (non-subscriber link).

Here is a good guide (taken from the signup agreement, which might be better off if included in the Forum FAQ as well.):
