Where are the Quake3 Areno Demo results?

Can anyone please tell me how to interpret Quake3 Arena Demo results? I see numbers at the bottom but it doesn't say which is FPS. Maybe I'm not running the right thing, I just click "Demo", is that correct?

Simple and easy way:

1. Drop down the console (~)

2. Type in "timedemo 1" (w/o the quotes)

3. Run any demo under the Demo menu

4. Drop down the console & the last line will say the FPS

anyone know of any real stressful demo's? like crusher and massive for quake2?

Thanks Erik. So what are good/bad FPS on this game? Should you leave all game settings as "default" and use that result, or do the settings have anything to do with the FPS?

Most websites use the max settings possible which are:-

texture compression disabled
lightmap lighting
high geometric detail
max texture detail
32bit texture quality
trilinear texture filtering
