Where are the preferences stored in iTunes?

I'm gonna reformat my computer, and I was wondering where the file that saves your preferences are (playlists, play count..etc)?

your user folder/my music/itunes...i think there are two files..one is an xml file and the other is itunes music library... i just save the whole directory
