Where are the new midrange/lowend cards?

Anybody got some news on this? We have 7-8 high-end cards from both ATi/nVidia all priced $300+. What happened to everything below that? Last I heard, ATI was just doing refreshes of the 9200/9600, (X300,X600) but even that is vaporware as of now. NVidia hasn't even made a peep. What gives?

The 6800NU id consider a good midrange card. Its "only" a bit less then $300 (ive seen it around 290ish) and it outperforms the 9800xt. The X800SE comes out this summer/fall and will compete against the 6800NU. Thats the other one id say would be the "midrange" card. Low end would be anything under them except the very top cards of the last gen maybe. Reason: the X600, etc will most likely just be a upped 9600 and thus "low end" by my opinion.

X300 and X600 are PCI-E only (and not any faster than their AGP counterparts). The low-end, just like in past years, has once again become the sales machine for last-year's models.
