Where are the cool cellphones?

Well, my contract is up, and I definitely need a new cellphone. One that has to be vastly more reliable than my POS Samsung A300 (unless I can trade it in, I'm batting it off the Brooklyn bridge). Only thing is, I can't find a good phone!

Yes, I am a MacOSX user, and I do not plan on going back to Windows. I just know that buying an Microsoft driven phone will require me to have windows to work with it. I can forsee this trusted computing thing locking me into their technology. So I think a Palm, or other OS driven phone that syncs with iCal is key (or another scheduling application, that runs on any platform).

Now there are phones out there that do this, but they are fooking beasts. I just need a scheduler, phonebook, and a good implementation of T9, all in a convenient flip phone.

Where the hell is it? I know there is demand here in NYC for such a product.

oh yeah....worst service evar!!!!!

I have been using GSM for 2 years now and love it. Look towards Sony Ericsson. There is some really good third party software out there to make them work with Macs.
