Well, the problem is that we really don't have shows with even mixtures of black and white folk. It is usually a whole cast of whites with a token black guy or a whole show filled with black guys.

The next big problem is that black shows are usually extremely racist. Pretty much every time a white guy comes on the show he is evil.

Why force something to be even that's not in real life? There's not a 50/50 split, so why force it?

Oh, you mean Fox/NBC/CBS/ABC/WB/etc?

Those are not exclusively white channels though. You could have a black show on it, but nobody has come up with anything compelling enough for it to actually be on the network.

BET is exclusively black.

Cosby Show and Family Matters were practically white TV shows.
Jeffersons and such were more for black audiences. In the 90s the only show for blacks that wasnt deliberately stupid (ie Martin, In Living Color) was Roc. It promoted healthy black community values and tried hard to stay away from dumb shit and racism.

Stating that the Cosby Show and Family Matters were white TV shows is a racist statement and is also a lie. Have you ever watched these shows? How do you arrive at the conclusion that they were "white?" I'm very curious.

Did you ever see Bill Cosby or Mr. Winslow ever walk around Drinking a 40oz of Malt Liquor?

Nope.

Therefore it was a "white" show and not a true representation of African American culture.

This thread is off to a good start.

BTW, Roc was an excellent show. I really miss it.

I just watched a Roc episode about the 1992 election on YouTube. I don't see how blatant left-wing Clinton-worship promotes healthy values. :hmm:
