gahhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhh!!!! I just got back from a clothes shopping trip in SF with my gay friend. I assumed he was going to take me to some of those designer thrift stores or something. I mean I usually spend $5 for a shirt, $10 for pants, but I was planning to splurge a little this time since it was a rare opportunity. GAHHHH instead he took me to all these stores where shirts were like $70-200 and pants were $150-$350. do people actually spend this much money on clothing? how? nobody makes that much money?!?!?1

/end rant

ok, so where can I go to get old designer clothes for cheap? I'm looking for blue jeans and a jacket and some lacoste polos.

Yeah, Ross is one place to try.

However, I would try the outlet stores first. They sell things at discounted prices. Check your local outlet stores.

Best of all, though, is to shop for items you want when the season for the clothes (including designer clothing) is over. The stores are eager to get rid of the clothes at that point and put in new stocks for the new season. Hence, you are likely to find huge discounts--up to 50% or more.

The last option, of course, is to become a model and get free clothing from designers. ;)

Nordstrom Rack and Burlington Coat Factory. The selection at tj max/marshalls/ross usually sucks.
