I hope we get everyone of them back, or at least a solid proof as to their fate.

The ones who ordered and committed the executions should be held liable as well.

Has there ever been proof of the POWs being executed? I still haven't heard anything like that, officially. And where is the debriefing info from PFC Lynch?

Heard her report would be issued soon, possibly today. I thought some of those that were recovered in her rescue attempt were also some of the ones shown live on TV. ?

I haven't heard that. The ones that were listed as MIA were the ones whose bodies were recovered.

That's my understanding, too. They were the ones killed in the ambush (or whatever it was when they made the wrong turn). The ones missing are the ones who were interviewed by Al Jazeera to be shown on Iraqi state-run television. Some were injured but none appeared shot and were in general good health.

If they aren't now...well...that's where The Hague comes into play.

Hopefully we will find some information on our pilot from 1991 as well, I would love to see him rescued after all this time.

I fear the worst. Hopefully we can at least recover the bodies so that their families can have some closure.

Hopefully there won't be metal bracelets with their names on them in the near future. Given the nature of that regime, however, I wouldn't be too surprised if they came back in coffins instead of walking. :|
