I have a friend that is looking to purchase a new monitor and I'd like to pass along some URLs of good websites that talk about the different types of monitors and what features to look for. If you know a good online resource for this type of information (I know that they exist, but I could find any that I was very impressed with) I'd love to check it out.

Thanks!

Tom's Hardware has a 19" round up with small guide on what to look for in a monitor. Cnet has a small "what to look for" section. CADALYST just did a round up on LCDs (although these are the big expensive ones. Their smaller siblings should perform similarly). Techonweb is my top recommendation for buying a new monitor. They are fast, they have good resseler ratings, and they have great prices. I ordered a monitor from them a couple weeks ago and it came in 4 days total (and that's with ground shipping which is supposed to take 5-7 days just to ship). Hope this helps!
