Where are other popular 'Off Topic' forums?

Won't give links (doesn't seem quite right) but I know hardocp has one. Haven't checked it out in forever.

Arstechnica has a couple of Off Topic types; at least one for subscribers and one for non-subscribers. Haven't been there in forever, either.

Nothing will compare to the General Mayhem, AKA "chop this", board on Hardforum. Of course, that arrogant redneck assclown Kyle had to kill it.

I think that 'The Lounge', 'The Soap Box', and 'The Velvet Room' are all subscription only now.

jophypants is on AT?!?!

he had some kick ass uber-liberal forum on his site a couple months back. (i always use to battle the head-republican)
and DC used to have a pretty good forum until the GL freaks spread into every topic screaming for hal jordan.
also the mods started to lock some Marvel related topics and then they switched systems and nothing has gone right since.
