Where are my temporary internet files located?

I'm trying to find a Quicktime video I just downloaded, and apparently the file was just taken off the server. If I close my browser window, the file will be gone! Where is it on my hard drive? I'm running Windows 2000. Please provide a path name if possible... much thanks in advance.

It's something like:
c:\documents and settings\%user%\local settings\temporary internet files

What if I don't have a 'Local Settings' folder? 🙁

The folder is hidden, navigate through: Tools -> Folder Options -> View, and click Show hidden files and folders...

Well, they can be anywhere that you or someone else designated. To find out where they are SUPPOSED to be, in IE, click on Tools, Internet Options, and the second set of buttons are where that location is set (Temporary Internet Files.) Press the "Settings" button and it will tell you exactly where they are. By the same token, you can change that to put them anywhere you want - another drive, or another partition. I always get them out of my O/S drive - they are a major source of fragmentation.
