Hey all,

I'm building a new PC getting ready for Battlefield 2 and all the other new-engine games, and I need to move my Far Cry saved games from my current PC to the new PC....

Anyone know where they're saved and what if anything I need to do to ensure that I can load my saved games up on the new computer? I'm at the very end and will NOT play through all this again just to see the end. lol

Thanks in advance for your help, and if anyone is curious, my new rig will be an Athlon64 2800+ on a Chaintech mobo with a 6600GT. 1Gig or more of memory. :)

Thanks again,

GS

Default is "C:\Program Files\Ubi Soft\Far Cry\Profiles" I think. Wherever u saved Far Cry then the profiles folder. Sounds like a nice computer, by the way :).

Don't want to rain on your parade, but I'm on a 3200/a8n-sli 6600gt and I'm expecting an upgrade to run at 1280x1024 (LCD resolution) with all the trinkets turned up in BF2. No specs published yet for it, but I can't imagine a 6600GT is quite going to cut it.

Hope I'm wrong however...

BF2 will run fine on a 6600GT. Just read the previews on the net where it's being run really well with all the goodies on ATI 9800 Pro's.

If computers won't run a game well, then the game doesn't sell......BF2 will run just fine on slower than top end cards, and thankfully that's a documented fact. (read the previews linked from bluesnews.com over the last week....they all say the same)

Thanks for the tip on where to find the Far Cry saved game files SonicIce...I'll go give that a whirl. The card came in today from newegg, so soon as I get these last files backed up I should be able to build the new rig tonight. :)
