Where are email and PW entries stored in XP?

I do not have autofill turned on in IE or Firefox, but when entering info in web pages the field will pop up previous searches, email addresses, strees names, etc that I have entered in th epast. There are a few old email addys that still pop up that I wish to get rid of. Does anyone know what file these are stored in? I looked through the registry but came up with zip....

Firefox: Tools / Options / Privacy / Uncheck 'Remember what I enter in forms and the search bar'

IE6: Tools / Internet Options / Content / Auto Complete Settings

I got that, but I would rather edit the contents rather than dump the list if possible.
