inherited a old k6-200mhz with multimedia extension from a friend.
modem drivers
sound card drivers
video card drivers
monitor driver

planning to reformat 2gb hard drive and to clean install win 98 se or ME (just to try)
dont want to search the net all over for drivers for these hardware
is there a place in windows 98 (ist edition) where they store all hardware drivers that I can copy them and burn in cd (have a external usb cd writer)

I havent cracked her open yet dont know the exact components might have intergrated video card.

Its one of those INTEVA pre built pc/
bios does not show actuall processor fhz or multipliers setting (plan to overclock)
will be using primarily for 8y/o daughters games

thanks

Extracting already-installed drivers would be a royal pain in the keister, if it would even work at all. Personally, I don't think it'll work. You'd have to find the .drv, .vxd and .dll files needed, the proper .inf files and the registry keys at the absolute minimum. You're likely better off finding out what the hardware is and getting the drivers from the manufacturer's website. If they're really obscure components, try http://www.windrivers.com/.
