Where are all the trades in baseball?

Hello, I read in the paper today about the Ugueth Urbina trade but that's about the only trade I've heard about this whole season. Aren't there usually more trades than this by this time in the season? Just wondering, I could be completely wrong...

It's a little early. Nobody is quite sure what they might need and too many teams are still in contention. Give it another month, by then most of the pretenders will have fallen away. The teams out of it will be willing to make trades to build for the future and the teams hoping to contend will be looking to fill their holes.

There are only 5 teams left that can spend a billion dollars a year for the good players.

dont understand why the phils traded away polanco, but urbina could pay dividends ... could bust... polanco > bell by far imo.
