Where are all the good love songs?

Almost every song I ever hear is about someone singing about how they made a mistake and wish they could be back together.

Where are the songs that talk about being in love and knowing it while they are in a relationship?

Wait--does that ever happen?

There's quite a few songs like that which have gotten a decent amount of airtime, but most of the ones I can think of are bubblegum pop (which is fine when you're in the mood for that). "For Ever and For Always" by Shania Twain is the most recent one I've liked well enough to get the album, and "We're in This Together" by Nine Inch Nails is a perenial favorite.

Savage Garden - Truely Madly Deeply (might've gotten the order of the three words wrong)

LOL 😀

The Queers - Everything's OK. They're kinda of a pop-punk band but sound like the Ramones (not the new school pop-punk).

There is TONS of country music along those lines... I dont know any specifically, but Rascal Flatts has many a Good one (definetly one of the best country musicians, esp for someone livin in the midwest) and theres a couple from Kenny Chesney

Seriously, it's one of the best songs I've ever heard. Played at weddings a lot. Give it a listen.

The Beatles up until 1965.

Eight days a week!

Stefan, if you think english love songs are sad, you should hear some of the sadder Latin love songs. They'll make you want to kill yourself.

Ani DiFranco - "As Is"
Alanis Morrisette - "Already Won Me Over"
Richard Thompson - "Word Unspoken, Sight Unseen"
INXS - "Never Tear Us Apart"
Shawn Colvin - "Diamond in the Rough"
Oingo Boingo - "We Close Our Eyes" (seriously! Danny Elfman is only 99% cynical, this is the other 1%)
