any suggestions? don't know where to start looking. Prior to braces I never needed shakes for my protein intake. Help and advice pls.

If your looking for overall calorie intake, I suggest Ensure. I used to drink a lot of that when my teeth hurt from braces.

Can you go to Costco? THey have 6 lbs for $25.

Braces' not too bad at first, wait till you get the rubberbands in.

different type of braces. still metal with wires, but no bands. some new tech that the ortho convinced me to use. it's going to be a long two years to come. is the costco protein any good? you try it before?

what is ensure all about?

I've been using it for the past year, does the job. It's not the most concetrated brand compare to the ones you can get online, but it is the cheapest in stores that you can access to right now. Those Ensure drinks are hella expensive.

The thing with protein shakes is that it doesnt give you the extra nutrients your body needs. You could look into supplement shakes, but those are also meant to be just supplements.

Ensure is pretty much considered liquid nutrition. Think of it as a meal in a can. It's good if you dont want to eat solid food but need some sort of sustanance.

Optimum Nutrition whey is easily the best price/taste/protein for your money. Get it pretty much anywhere.

yep. the powder smells bad, but after you mix it, it tastes good.
