Many of you may have heard of the St. Charles East High School closing due to toxic mold found inside the walls, which sparked a bunch of other schools throughout the country checking and finding and closing. The three-week spring break was nice, since they found it during the first "actual spring break" week. They put us into St. Charles North High School, and we went for 4 hours in the morning, then North High School students came and went for 4 hours in the afternoon. It sounds nice, but it wasn't. I've never had so much homework in my life. Not to mention a test just about everyday in something or other, and no time to learn the material. It was hell, but I got through it, according to my report card which just came, I got A's, B's, and one C (in geometry of course).

Anyway, AAA Environmental was supposed to clean up our school, and they should be doing it as we speak, but they can't, because they goddamned lawyers for the many people who are now suing the school claim that they will destroy evidence later used in court cases. Personally, I think the people suing are pretty stupid anyway (Hey, let's sue our own children's education, or better yet, sue our tax dollars!).

So, it's almost certain that my school will not be open next fall either.:( Now, there's suggestions ranging from tearing down the school and building a new one (which I think is ridiculous, he said it would cost up to $10 million dollars to clean up the school, and 50-60 million to build a new one. Cleaning it up would also take less time, so which is the wiser choice, genius?), to setting up hundreds of mobile classrooms at the East HS campus or North HS campus, to shoving the sixth graders into North HS along with North HS students, moving the seventh and eigth graders to two of the three middle schools and letting East HS students have the remaining middle school, plus some mobile classrooms... the list goes on and on.

This is getting ridiculous. Why can't the lawyers just fvck off and let AAA clean up our school? Other ideas suggest separating freshman and sophomores from the juniors and seniors, which would ruin all of my extracurricular stuff..AGGH!
