Is the northwood coming out on 10/28 then? I'm building a game system and must decide between an amd 1.53 ghz or a new northwood. Thanks

The Northwood comes out in the fisrt quarter of 2002.

Hmmm. I hadn't heard that its been officially delayed. I thought it was supposed to be released last quarter this year. Is Willamette really ramping up in speeds that quickly/easily? According to Anand's latest P4 review Willamette was stopping at 2ghz with Northwood taking over at 2.2ghz later this year.
