When's the last time you contacted your gov representatives?

No political siding in here. I figure the P&N crowd is opinionated enough that they may drop an email to their gov representatives ones in a while to let them know what they think. When's the last time you made your voice heard to help them decide on anything? (aside from voting.)

For me, it was last night. First time in a long time, maybe ever. I really should do that more often.

I thought the title said "gay representatives" and I was, like,, WTF are you retarded or something?

Hell, I don't even live in San Francisco or West Hollywood. :disgust:

Never. I don't give a damn about what they do. I don't vote nor will I bitch about politics in any way.

No no0b. Wrong forum would be if I made a political statement that was likely to incite the masses to fury. OT would be the place to post random "I did this yesterday" comments.

And, although you wouldn't know this, OT actually used to occasionally harbor some meaningful content, so you can't call "wrong forum" just because the post has some type of relevance.

I don't even keep track of who they are most of the time. I honestly feel like I don't make a difference outside of the city I live in. Although, I have considered talking to the city parks and recreation dep't.

They're really not hard to look up.

Not me personally, but my grandmother recently contacted our Senator to arrange for my grandfather to have a military funeral. I forget the technicalities of the issue, but that turned out pretty cool.

I wrote a letter to my senator a couple months ago letting him know how awsome he is and how I can't wait to elect him governor 🙂
