I see its icon illuminate, but I'm not exactly sure when to use it - do I use it when the enemy is alive or dead? It just confuses me a bit. Thanks in advance.

I doesn't kill the CyberDemon in one hit.
Generally I save it for hell knights and Revenants.

(3 hits, i think on my 1st try)
and why save it at all? . . . just kill 5 [/i]something's else[/i] - if you get stuck battling a more powerful enemy, the SC will "refresh you" . . . again and again.
(i love eXploiting "loopholes" that should have been 'closed')

there is no "challenging" difficulty in Doom III after you find it.Originally posted by: skace

If you had played a challenging difficulty, you would have seen the reason to save it.

I'll take a demo of you beating nightmare difficulty without saves. Or just a demo from nightmare hell on.

Yah, just shoot it off everytime you get it filled up. It will fill up again real quick as soon as you get 5 more kills.

I like to use it on Revenants since you can dispatch them really quick, before they can summon other guys
