whenever machine blows up sygate loses all its advanced rules

whenever my machine hangs/BSODS/freezes/or anything else that causes it to not shut down properly all my settings in "advanced rules" get wiped out. anyone know what causes this or what i can do about it? reloading my blacklist and other firewall settings twice a week is getting annoying as hell.

Talk to the sygate people, if it can't retain it's rule-sets I wouldn't think it would be worthwhile to fight with personally.
