Here's a few "rules" we following when we're kicking back and drinking:

1. It's rude to open only yourself a beer. If you're going to open yourself a beer you must also open one for everyone else.

2. If someone already opened a round, wait until that round has finished before starting yours.

3. Always drink your beer the same as the person who opened it for you. If he or she shotgun'ed it then you must shotgun yours. If that person says "1 gulp after me" then when he or she finishes their beer you must finish your beer with one last touch to your lips. If you finish your beer in any other way you will be penalize with another one.

4. If you intentionally or accidently spilled your beer you will get penalize with another one.

5. If you can still drink then drink some more. If you can't, then drink some more.


**Geesh many of you need to lighten up. Have a :beer: or two and chill....bottoms up;)

no crazy rules like that...

just if you finish your beer and go to grab another yell out, who needs another and grab accordingly...

No Gin ( I dont like this one)
and No Tequila (great rule)

Rules like yours get old after middle/high school.

That sounds like you are playing a game. My group drinks whenever we want. Though, sometimes people do have a "party foul", and spill their drink. Then we make em shot gun the next one.

People who never drank with us before first think the same but after coming over a few times every one of them actually enjoy drinking the way we do than casually at one's own pace. I use to like drinking casually but now it's just too boring.

we just do a poker night where each person has to bring a 6 pack or full size bottle (wine, mead, ale, whatever) NEW that no one else has either heard of or drank. it gets a little difficult after you've been doing it 3+ years and people rotate in and out, but I've found some great drinks. I've even imported crap from overseas just to surprise the group. One guy took it upon himself to start brewing his own for a while because he got tired of hunting hehe
