word. I used to buy small exacto knives for sculpting purposes. then I turned 18 and all of the sudden I wasn't allowed to buy any sort of sharp object until I was 21. wtf.

What? I'm 18 and I buy knives all the time. Been buying knives since I was.. 15 I guess, for school.

They don't rtust kids with anything anymore. When I was little I could get pretty much anything except firearms, cigarettes, and alcohol. Now kids are restricted from buying paint, matches, knives, markers, hell, white-out at some places. I personally think it's pretty damn stupid. My childhood would have been a lot more boring without a lot of those things.
You're right... I could buy those things when I was a kid, too.

However, we weren't stupid enough to put paint in a baggie, proceed to shove our faces in and breath the toxic fumes.

I could not buy anything we were dirt poor, I could not even afford to buy the steam off of a free lunch.

Oh yeah? Well, we were so poor that we couldn't even afford to pay attention. 😛
