freshmen year, i had a guy living on my floor with the same birthday as I do and the same name. turns out he goes by his middle name, and as do I!!!

VeggieFrog did none of this and does not do it now.

However.. things were different all those years ago.. not nearly the PC stuff that is around now... smoking wasnt horrible.. having a few drinks in the home where the parents were in charge.. instead of hanging out in teh street... was not a big deal.

edit: we are taking over 20yrs ago.

I could legally by Beer at age 18,when i was 18,and 21.

Not a big deal,nobody went drinking;to get wasted on their 18th birthday,
that I knew.Heck 60% of the people I knew had to go to high school class the next day.

You near 21 year olds are making a big deal out of a number.

There is not reason to get stupid drunk just because you can now leaglly buy a drink.

Act more grown up,and responsible,and have 2 or 3 drinks instead.

Make sure to use a designated driver if you do go out!

Saturday I was a designated driver for a very good friend,my Dad.
I took him to a picnic,got there at 1PM,left at 6:30PM,at 2pm I had one beer.

I drank soda,and water the rest of the time,there.I knew the one beer would
be long gone by the time we left.

I had a good time,and my Dad was able to have a couple more beers than normal,
because I was a designated driver.I do this for Dad,and a couple other close friends.

Dad had a great time,and he said he owes me a designated drive.

had a $hitty GF at the time... didn't do squat. Month later a liberated man my buddies made up for it, but i had to endure SO many lectures... meh, free booze and good buddies.

When I turned 20, a bunch of friends took me out to a bar. Before that, we drank at my friends house, where one of my friends always made sure my glass was full of booze (ridiculously strong screwdrivers). It was time to go, I must have had about 12 drinks worth in an hour or so, so we all piled into cars, and I ended up in my friends van, still drinking. It was the last thing I remembered that night. However, I'm told that we made it to a bar, and I was crazy, dancing by myself, while everyone else was sitting, and talking sh!t about my pool skills and challenging everyone. I also furiously denied being drunk. At one point, my friends got 9 shots of tequila for me, and I downed them like they were nothing. Then, I'm told that I slowed down, and puked all over the table. On the way home, they gave me a pylon, closed off the bottom, and I puked into that the whole way back.

I woke up and had the worst hangover ever. When I went to church, I had to run to the washroom to throw up
