When you see a half-Caucasian half-Asian person?

You'll be right most of the time. How many Asian man/Caucasian woman couples are there? Not a lot. I know davidquan has a Caucasian wife, but he's the exception.

Here, the vast majority of the time they are. US serviceman marries asian woman and has children. It's not even assumption it's just the way it is.

depends...i think the kid usually looks more like the father...

if the girl is more 'white' than i will think the father is white but if the kid is more 'asian' i'll think the kid's father is asian.

No, but you'll find out by the last name. I know half-asians with last names Kims, Lees, Changs, Suzukis, etc. and I also know half-asians with last names Smiths, Williams, etc. By last name you know easily what race the father is.
