If you want to pricematch via online, just get onto staples.com and click on live customer service chat. When a csr appears, give him/her the link for the product you?re interested in and the phone number to the store (the csr needs to check product availability). Many times the csr will try to add next day shipping unless the product is coming from their Ingram Micro (supplier). If you?re lucky, they will only add a $5 shipping charge or maybe nothing at all?.and that?s if you?re lucky. When the pricematch is approved, then give the csr an online coupon. Some will refuse a pricematch and a coupon. If that happens and you want to invest more time, you need to call via phone and get a different, perhaps nicer csr. This entire process is about 10-25 minutes.
I typically prefer pricematching at a physical staples store for several reasons:
1) I get the product immediately
2) They usually allow pricematching and coupon use at the same time
3) No worries about product damage during shipping
4) Many will not add the extra $5 shipping charge
5) Sometimes online orders will be cancelled and you will not be notified. Dead deal.
Online and phone pricematches can be aggravating (long waits for proper approval). When you go to a store and see them in person, they will more likely say yes to get you out of their store. It?s a novelty when a girl comes in a pricematches a tech item, so try to get your wife to do it. They?ll most likely not give her any problems at all. <----I can personally vouch for this
