Say you were given a random object. You have no idea what it does, who makes it, or how it works. What do you see as an indication of implied quality?

A dense feel to it?
Real metal surfaces?
Matte surface?
Smooth surface?
Bold colors?
Shiney?

Usually the colors

Compaying a P910i, to a 9500, the P910i certainly looks cheaper, and it as WAY lighter. The looks were because of the dull colors used on it. The lightness made me think that there was nothing inside the phone, and that made it feel cheap to me as well.

Weirdly though: I swapped in my 9500 for a P910i

thick shells. you can tell usually when something has a thin case and it makes it seem cheap. This gives the illusion it is well built or that it has a "solid" construction.

and try not to let the product have empty spaces inside makes it can make it seem hollow or cheap
