Come to think of it, I'm not sure that I've tried Oblivion since I o/c'd my 3600 (@ 2.48Ghz atm)...might be worth a try..

I'm not overclocking anything at the moment. X2 4200= is at 2.2GHz (it can do 2.7GHz but that adds about 5C to the core temp). 1900XTX is at default speed also.

My apartment is very warm thanks to some folks that immigrated from southern places and keep asking the city to raise the temperature in our low-rent housing building. When I game, unless I start my A/C, my core temp goes to 54C; add 5-6C to that and it gets to 60C, a temperature I do not like. It may be stable but I still do not like it that warm.

That is pretty high, I wouldn't push my luck either.
