When you goto the car wash what option do you choose?

I go to to the wand-washing places when its too cold to wash by hand, and do a complete wash about once a month. Make sure to get under there with the spray and rinse the salt out of your wheelwells and undercarriage, or you'll soon learn what rusting really means. :)

The "wax" option they give you doesn't look as good as a real wax job, and only lasts a month at most, but it at least does the job of protecting the clear-coat.

Where I live if you don't wash your car during the winter the salt will destroy the finish.

Yeah, whoever has a black car will realize that it looks so sharp when clean, but every little thing will show. Don't even get met started on circular scratches or SWIRLS!
