When you goto the car wash what option do you choose?

I go to to the wand-washing places when its too cold to wash by hand, and do a complete wash about once a month. Make sure to get under there with the spray and rinse the salt out of your wheelwells and undercarriage, or you'll soon learn what rusting really means.

The "wax" option they give you doesn't look as good as a real wax job, and only lasts a month at most, but it at least does the job of protecting the clear-coat.

Where I live if you don't wash your car during the winter the salt will destroy the finish.

Yeah, whoever has a black car will realize that it looks so sharp when clean, but every little thing will show. Don't even get met started on circular scratches or SWIRLS!
