When you flash a new BIOS does it reset all your CMOS settings?

Comtemplating falshing a pro2a from 2.2 to 2.7 even though everything works fine. I noticed it upgraded some problems with teac drives playing VCDs. Not that I ever play VCDs.
I has disabled onboard sound for instance and was wondering it it would reset it?
Thanks, Mac

Agree with Death but to get back to your original question, Yes it fact it's a part of the flashing procedure. Go read the flashing procedure in the readme.txt or from the homepage.😎

From what ive seen with mine usually it doesnt. The directions actually tell you to set back to factory defaults after flash. thats probably so the new features take effect.

Well.. some major flash updates resets the cmos too.
For exemple, new patch for Asus K7m. After the flash, everything is f**up. You can't even boot and there nothing on monitor. REALLY scary ! U must press DEL and reconfigure your bios options.
