is there anything to do when you dont get a rebate you should have gotten.

i am to the point where talking to employess of the local office max resulted in them finding out the rebate offer was closed so they say i can't get the money.

i submitted the forms correctly, kept records, got rejected, resubmitted, got no response and then went into the store.

p.s. i have no real desire to sue office max, but i would be interested in seeing a class action suit force companies to stop doing these stupid rebate programs.

Did you send the documents via certified mail?

Rebates are just way too profitable for a company for them to ever stop. You take a risk when you do the rebate, which is exactly why, even though I see hot deals here daily, I don't do any of them that require a rebate, unless that company has a great track record of paying out rebates.

Did you make copies of all your forms, including date stamps, etc.? I've had to contest a couple of incorrect rejections, and each time, when I calmly read all the data to the CSR, he/she allowed it. Solid evidence is everything. Good luck.
