To use FS/FT, you need to display your email in your profile. This is the most ironic n00b move in the history of the internet, b/c people have known since 1999 to obfuscate their email on any webpage (or use an image) b/c it will get scraped by spammer bots. AT is supposed to be tech savvy userbase, yet the rule is something even my mother knows not to do since 2001. Are you guys for real? What am I missing?

It's a good question, though, considering how many spammers do get to sign in. Could it be/is it restricted like the FS/FT forum? I.e. with a 25 post minimum or the like?

The email that I list for FS/T has, to my knowledge, never been picked up by a spambot. It's almost completely spam free, other than eBay, PayPal, Microsoft, Steam, Origin, and GMG stuff. I asked for all of those.

I think he means that he hasn't seen any extra activity since listing his email in his profile. My email has been displayed since forever and I have zero spam concern.

What does this mean?

I think he means that he hasn't seen any extra activity since listing his email in his profile. My email has been displayed since forever and I have zero spam concern.
Yeah, I guess I could have worded that better. My listed FS/T email is only used for buying/selling and I only get mail from the sites I listed.
