When you close a bedroom/bathroom door...

do you (1) turn the knob first, close it, then let go of the knob, or do you (2) just pull so that the thing inside pushes in then pops back out on its own?

If its late at night and I don't want to make any extra noise, I'll do option one. Otherwise, option 2.

I voted option two because I do it more often.

When using the bathroom, I do #2. 😀

Lame bathroom jokes aside, I do #2 for everything. That is, unless the building is so old that the doors no longer are on properly and #2 doesn't work.

I usually do method #1, simply because it's quieter. If I'm in a hurry, though, or no one's around, I'll do method 2.

Sums it up for me.

i dont close the door when i use the bathroom, air flow is better that way.
oh and it helps when your gf doesn't mind. unless it starts to stink that i would close it

You guys are all very considerate. I do #1 all the time without thinking about it, but my roommate does #2 all the time without thinking about it. I wonder if I can reform her...

Depends on if the misses is sleeping or if I'm home alone, if I'm alone then I don't care and will do method #2 and of course if the misses is sleeping then I'll do method #1
