When you bridge an amp, how do you know the ohm rating if it doesn't state it?

I am looking at getting a new amp, and it never states the ohms when bridged. Why is this?

I may be wrong, but I'm pretty sure bridging an amp cuts the ohms in half. Or does it double it? :)

Right off the "specs" page. I use a 4- channel amp bridged down to two channels to power my front speakers. Most good amps will slightly more than DOUBLE the power per channel when bridged.

Specifications

Dynamic Power Rating (measured at 14.4V):

Bridged Into A 4-Ohm Load: 160 watts x 2
Per Channel Into A 2-Ohm Load: 80 watts x 4
Per Channel Into A 4-Ohm Load: 55 watts x 4

Rt...since it puts out 120x2 bridged...you can hook up two 4 ohm speakers to it and each one will get 120 watts.
