When you are using your computer....

Do you like to keep things as simple as possible, or do you not really care either way if it's simple or complicated?

I've talked to several people and found some who want to keep computer related tasks as easy as possible while others find simple = boring and like to complicate things to make it more interesting.

which one would you be?

As an example, my dad needed help to ftp a file over to a server. I tried to explain how to use the built in ftp program in windows. After 15 minutes of explaining, I just told him to download WS_FTP. Sometimes I'm too lazy to load up things like cuteftp and just use "ftp"

I perfer to keep the overall setup simple. If it takes me an extra click to do something, I'd rather do that than have a bunch of crap installed.

I like to have lots of options so I can tweak my computer to keep it as simple as possible.

I let it happen as it happens, know what I'm sayin'? I try to make my computer as easy to use and powerful and this requires skills that would be considered hard by a newbie.🙂
