When you are doing a on line trade / buy how long do you wait before you start screaming

If the item has been paid for but not received, and all attempts at communication have failed.

there should be constant contact.. thru all steps of the trade.

if i got no acknowlegement of the payment and heard nothing else... i would get worried after a week. i would not be happy that i heard nothing from the seller, but i would not stress it until a week.

I'm not sure what you are asking? Are you talking about a stock trade? With a broker?

No, buying something from someone on line.

Like in the FS/FT forum.

Well the seller was last signed in on the 27Th. payment had been sent on the 24th and P.M. was sent stating that payment was sent the same day.

No communication for over a week, then a Email was sent.
Still no response to either P.M's or Email...

In most cases that = pwned. The 24th was a long time ago.

what you posted doesnt make sense to me. is the first paragraph correct?

do you have a phone number? Did the trade take place on this forum? How much money we talking about? Seller got decent heat/feedback?

oops.
Re read it. Now it should make sense.

The seller has GOOD heatware which is why I hate to jump to conclusions.

I know sometimes things happen (Jail/death, that kinda thing) so I hate to ruin someones rep if that is the case.
