When you're building the pc, is it bad to keep some parts in the case, while the whole pc is still incomplete? For instance: can I install everything except the dvd burner and hdd and wait a day, then install those, or will static damage the parts? Thanks!
 
Yes you can leave it out, unless it's on carpet. If it's a card or a hard drive, you can put it inside or on top of an antistatic bag just in case.
 
I have a complete system that is just screwed on a 2 inch plank of wood, even the PSU and all components. Works great, have it hanging on my wall at home. I call it Art. 🙂
