When would the best time to buy a PS3 be?

Does the MGS4/DS3/80GB bundle have BC? Anything special or different about this bundle over just buying the 40GB and a copy of MGS4?


EDIT: NM. I bought the 80GB MGS bundle after work at Target. It wouldn't work right out of the box. I'm installing PS3 System Software Version 2.35 right now.

Yes, the 80GB has BC.

EDIT:Here is the Wiki page for the PS3. it seems to be up to date. It doesn't mention if the new 80GB has the processor that the 40GB has though. If anyone knows, please post.
