When will Windows XP go RTM?

I've seen two launch dates: June/01 and September/01. In these cases RTM could be either May/01 and August/01 .... maybe earlier.

M$ is pushing for a June release but that doesn't mean they'll make it. Beta 2 will be released on march 14 now. Then RC1 in april and RC2 in May and probably RTM in June.

Just saw this on http://www.theregister.co.uk/content/49/17018.html:

<< Microsoft has pushed back Beta 2 of Windows XP two weeks, to March 14, according to a memo leaked to CRN. But the final release is still set for the end of June. What's this mean? Well, they will have RC1 ready some time in April, giving eight solid weeks to release-to-manufacturing (RTM) by May 30. Microsoft's goal for RC2 is to make it a bug fix frenzy, and then release RC3 and finally RTM. >>

NFS4: Uhummm ... some types of "distributions" come out on or shortly after RTM. I hope you're not thinking what I'm thinking ... 😛😉😀
