I mean like that Western Digital at Dell that has so many up in arms?

Also when will other brands get in gear?

What's the advantage of having an 8MB guys? How better is it that 2 MB ? and does it affect performance by a huge margin?

Didn't they have adapters they were using to show off the controllers at conventions?

If you could get a couple of those...

Well that information is eye opening

I ordered mine Thursday at 10 pm hopeing to get it Friday with next business day shipping. It didn't come (no big surprise)

What way does Dell ship

I guess I won't have to look around town for an as good or better HD I'll just suck it up with no computer (other then g/fs POS) until I get my new HD

Thanks guys (and gals)

Fry's sells OEM and retail 8MB WD drives. The boxed ones have a silver sticker on the front indicating the 8MB. They had a whole stack of the 80 and 100 GB ones a few days ago.

What system and hard drive was that? Even the first IBM XT's came with a 10meg harddrive.
