What do you guys think? Well probably not see.. since I don't think it's going to happen in the next hundred years...

Furthermore, would a white female be elected president first or a minority male president?

It would be an interesting event to see if it occured in my liftetime...

Never...
Perhaps maybe we can have a "all-minority" mixed female candidate, just to up the odds a bit.

my guess is a minority man first then after that we will she a women in office. i would love to see both happen in my lifetime, however my guess is that the first women president hasn't been born yet.

The first female that will ever have a chance is Chelsea Clinton. Colin Powell will also have a good chance of winning - however he has repeatedly stated that he never will.

Chelsea Clinton?

I also think we'll see a minority as president before a woman.

When the majority (or at least enough to win a majority of the electoral college) feel that the person in question represents them and their idologies. Once that is done, it wouldn't matter who the person is, they're likely to get voted in. Conversely, until someone like that makes the majority feel like they are being represented, there's about 0% chance that we'll see women or minorities in the Oval Office.

I think if a conservative candidate like Amabassador Keyes wins the primaries, we could get a minority president. Unfortunately the liberal press ignores conservative minority candidates.

Never. No one in their right mind would let a woman run the country. They would probably try to solve problems in the Middle East by spending 500 million to track down Osama and then giving him a big hug! :D

If the current birth rate stats, in which whites has the lowest, in 50 years from now even if we have a wasp president, he will be a minority president.

I care about one's trustworthiness and policy, not one's stock.

I can't believe how pessimistic you guys are. I think we'll see one or the other within the next 20 years. I do think, though, that they'll start as the Veep, then win the Presidency.

Shameless prediction: Dick Cheney will retire due to health reasons and be replaced by Colin Powell in the 2004 election, setting Powell up to run for President in 2008.
