When will we see Northwood

I about finished putting together a P4, I've had everythning for a week or too now but I was waiting on buying the actual CPU, I decided on getting a 1.7ghz part since they are only &199 compared to $390 for a 1.9 ghz. I figured that since I'm going the socket 478 route, I will be able to throw a Northwood in there when they become available, any idea when ?
 
An inside source I have @ Intel has informed me that the Northwood cpu's will immerge into market late this month.

LOL. I'd like to see that.😉

We won't see Northwood any earlier than November, says everyone in the hardware world.
 
I'd expect to see some new CPUs at the October 15th forum (from Intel and others). Who knows if it will just be faster MHz for the current P4s or if Northwood will be showcased.
