When will Verizon get WP7?

I'll be able to get a new phone in March and am really looking forward to trading in my BB Tour for a WP7. Taking a gander at the lineup though, it would seem that big red once again fucked up and didn't jump on the bus, instead deciding to keep pumping out android after android device.

Trying to find info online, all I found out is that they'll be coming next year sometime. Does anyone have any idea when? I really like my Zune HD and like the UI of the WP7.

You're blaming the wrong person. Verizon didn't choose to not have WP7, Windows chose to release it later as GSM is a much larger market than CDMA. CDMA WP7 phones are going to be released early next year which is perfect timing for you since you're do in March.

my renewal is up in november,but im on vzw as well. im waiting to see how wp7 pans out until making my decision, at least "early next year" gives me time to see how it does.

It's both good and bad IMO. Bad because I love new toys, but good at the same time because this gives us 3+ months of usage/feedback from users before a WP7 is even available for VZW.

Definitely looks interesting, just wish the HD7 wasn't stuck on T-mobile only, I'm wanting to jump into the 4"+ screen sized phones.

i hear ya, ive rarely waited more than a week after an upgrade came available. this will be a difficult one for me hehe. hopefully they will get a good 4"+ one for vzw as well, or if not i may look at switching.
