Yeah, i'm surprised how popular it is today... and especially the crap on TV. Who the hell wants to watch people play poker, it's as boring as golf.

When people realize just because they watch poker on tv doesn't mean they're good

Poker is exciting, and is an inexpensive way to spend an evening with friends.

Buy a 12 pack, and $10 buy in per person. Makes total cost for each person about $12, for something that is very fun.

As soon as people watch this new "TILT" show, and realize how poker has spawned this terrible idea.

I play a LOT of poker (at least a game a day), but that is just because I am a college student without a job or any extra curricular activities besides alcohol. But god I do hope this thing dies soon. Same with the newfound fascination with cars and "choppers". Every fvcking station has to have a show with someone building a motorcycle (and have silly drama thrown in for kicks! yay!) and playing a game of hold em. People watch this sh!t cause they think it makes them cool. This mentality has completely ruined the Discovery Channel and TLC (same thing, but for women), and is quickly ruining my favorite channel of all (well, at least on basic cable) --- The History Channel. :|

I think we need to start a petition. Monster garage was good, but once it took off, everything started sucking... like a hoover.

i hope it never does. in the future when my basement is finished, i'm going to use it as an excuse to have the guys over, watch hockey (hopefully sometime in the future some semblance of professional hockey will again be on television) and smoke big cigars on the deck. oh yeah there will be a poker game too.

hopefully soon. everyone tells stories about their "greatest hand" and they are all huddeled around sharing stories about last nights poker tournament, and how much each won. i dont know what they are so hyped out about.

And in turn the Discovery Channel sucks now. All I have left is the History Channel. :(

This year's main even at the WSOP is going to have twice as many entries as last year (which had 3 times as many entries as the year before). And the last three years prove that there really is no such thing as an expert poker player. Yeah, some players are better than others, but even those players lose most of the time.

Who the hell wants to watch people live in a house and be annoying? What's that, the real world has gone so far they stopped numbering the seasons? Oh.
