will some private company control all money transactions through credit cards/chips in cell phone, or will government issue some sort of digital cash/pre-paid card?

Eventually, with God's help, evolution will have weeded out the imbeciles in society. I predict another 15,000 years or so. Then we can have a society full of nothing but people who are able to use computers and technology at least moderately, and not need something tangible like a cheque or cash in their hand to understand the concept of money.

I'd rather not have a private company be able to see all of my purchases.

So probably never...
