I'm thinking about going there for it (I have an appointment down the street that day), I think the announcement is open to the public.

There are rumors that the price will be $170-179 as well. The leaked price in Japan was $225.

Yah no firm date has been set yet, nor price. However there are street dates for the games at gamestop.

Here's a pic of the release list so far from Gamestop.

As you can see some are as early as October 2nd. However since it's been confirmed that Red Steel will be a launch title, one would think it will be atleast November 1st before we see the Wii (according to that list).
