When will the GF4 be out?

I hear they will be announced middle of January, does that mean it will be out around early Feb?

Unlikely, i'd expect preview samples around late Feb, with the cards on sale mid/late March.

Darn, same time as Xbox released in the UK.
What to get?

A compact PC with a GF3 onboard to play the latest games, or a new GF4 to play.....urm.... any ideas?

Realistically I wouldn't expect anything new from nVidia until June 2002, unless maybe ATi releases an 8500 Ultra. Then we might see a GF3 Ti1000 or something.
