This is annoying, because newegg has the rebate up for the SNV125-S2/40GB (click on the rebate tab) but the final price is then $110 instead of $85. They haven't listed the desktop bundle yet (SNV125-S2BD/40GB) but I can only imagine it being $15 more than the regular bundle.

I guess it will be $85 as the shell shocker deal

This is a work in progress.....that rebate link wasn't there this morning (well, first thing this morning the product wasn't there either).

I suspect we'll see the desktop bundle this afternoon or evening. And on Wednesday they'll be a shell shocker deal to bring the base model down to $85 after rebate.

Fun. Marketing shennanigans.

I would agree. Kingston was very upfront about this deal they have with NewEgg. It's not like this info leaked to the public.

As such, I hope they're very careful about how this is handled (NewEgg too). Reputations are built and killed this way (not that I really expect them to care).

Yeah, they must of had like 10 of them. Very disappointing NewEgg. Very Disappointing Kingston.

Oh well. There are other vendors and other manufacturers.

they were up there for at least an hour I believe, that's when I went to bed. That combo deal was even better, I'm gonna try to get in on it now. add $10 for a decent looking case, and I think it even upgrades to free UPS shipping instead of eggsaver. at least thats what I remember seeing
